PARKING

If you are planning to drive to the JBFC, bring plenty of quarters! Some attendees in the past have found parking in Pleasantville to be a challenge - please consider using our FREE SHUTTLE. Municipal parking is available in nearby Memorial Plaza, next to the train station, located around the corner from the Film Center. Other municipal parking available in the surrounding area is shown on this map.

The Jacob Burns Film Center and Media Arts Lab in Pleasantville, NY, are centrally located in the heart of Westchester County, just 30 miles north of Manhattan. Both buildings are located within two blocks of the Pleasantville stop on the Metro-North Harlem Line. They are convenient to much of Putnam, Rockland and Fairfield counties by car, train or bus.  

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

FROM THE NORTH Taconic Parkway south to Pleasantville Road/ Pleasantville exit. Turn left off the exit and follow Pleasantville Road 1.5 miles to the third stoplight. Turn left onto Manville Road. The Media Arts lab is on the left just after the second light. The Jacob Burns Film Center is on the right just after the third light.

Saw Mill Parkway south to Exit 29 (Manville Road/Pleasantville). Turn right off the exit onto Manville Road. The Media Arts lab is on the left just after the second light. The Jacob Burns Film Center is on the right just after the third light.

FROM THE SOUTH Saw Mill Parkway north to Exit 30 (Grant Street). Take Grant Street to the first light and make a left onto Manville Road. The Media Arts lab is on the left as you turn at the light. The Jacob Burns Film Center is on the right just after the next stoplight.

FROM THE EAST Take I-287 west to the Sprain Brook Parkway north (Exit 3). Take the Sprain north to the Saw Mill River Parkway north. Exit the Saw Mill at Exit 30 (Grant Street). Take Grant Street to the first light and make a left onto Manville Road. The Media Arts lab is on the left as you turn at the light. The Jacob Burns Film Center is on the right just after the next stoplight.

FROM THE WEST After Tappan Zee Bridge take I-87 to I-287 east to Saw Mill River Parkway north. Exit the Saw Mill at Exit 30 (Grant Street). Take Grant Street to the first light and make a left onto Manville Road. The Media Arts lab is on the left as you turn at the light. The Jacob Burns Film Center is on the right just after the next stoplight.

TRAIN Metro-North Harlem Line train to Pleasantville. Go upstairs at the north end of the platform and exit to the right to the corner of Wheeler Avenue and Manville Road. The Jacob Burns Film Center is on Manville Road one block to the right. The Media Arts Lab is on Manville Road two blocks to the left.
